    Complete list of active disaster hotspots ranked by severity, paired with concrete mortgage lender underwriting, inspection, insurance, and closing requirements. Click any hotspot to filter the events table and load affected county loans.

    1. FEMA Declared Counties (DR#)
    Require Post-Disaster Inspection (Form 1004D / exterior + interior photos), borrower no-damage attestation, and active HOI verification before closing or funding.
    2. Active Wildfire & Hurricane (<25 mi)
    Check insurance carrier ZIP binding moratoriums; require exterior photo certification confirming the subject property is outside active fire/surge perimeters.
    3. SFHA Flood Zones (A / AE / V / VE)
    Verify Life-of-Loan Flood Determination, mandatory NFIP or qualifying private flood insurance binder, and escrow setup per GSE/FHA coverage minimums.
    4. Closing Gate & Servicing Triage
    Place Clear-to-Close / Funding Hold on unverified loans in impact zones; flag closed/serviced loans in FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) counties for forbearance outreach.
